A religious text, a lullaby sung by Mary to the baby Jesus, Brahms also quotes an old christmas carol in the music ("Joseph Lieber, Joseph Mein"). Perfect for recitals, church or Christmas services. Transcribed by Eric Carlson for 2 brass and piano – may be played with 2 horns or 2 trombones or 1 horn and 1 trombone. Includes substitute parts.
